Coalition for a Better Future to release annual Scorecard Report on  Canada’s economic growth

National economic leaders to examine Canada’s performance and chart the path ahead

OTTAWA, MARCH 19, 2026 – The Coalition for a Better Future, in partnership with the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, will host its annual Scorecard Reporting Event on Thursday, March 26, to provide an update on how Canada’s economy is performing.

As countries around the world move to secure their economic futures through energy, critical minerals, advanced manufacturing and trade infrastructure, the Coalition argues it’s time to turn ambition into action. Canada cannot afford to stand still.

The Coalition will release the 2026 Scorecard Report, which provides a clear assessment of Canada’s progress on 21 key indicators, including living standards, innovation and investment capacity, and progress toward a greener, more resilient economy.  Leaders from business, government, labour, policy and youth will gather to examine the findings and chart a course for Canada’s economic future.
